We are pleased to announce that the library in Philly is now open to the public! We are starting with a soft opening of 2 days per week with business hours of:
Tuesdays & Fridays 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
We do have to implement a couple new rules per our safety plan for reopening which is:
1. Face coverings must be worn over the nose and mouth upon entering the building
2. Maintain at least six feet of distance between you and other patrons while in the library
We strongly encourage everyone to wash their hands with soap and water as soon as they come in and before touching anything. Doing so will dramatically decrease any risk of transmiting not only COVID-19, but all germs. If our hours do not coincide with your work schedule or otherwise, or if you have a problem with our rules, please call the library to arrange for pickup time and date. We have a disclaimer posted on the front and rear entrances saying "Enter at your own risk". We are doing the best we can with what resources we have so please be patient and accepting of our policies until the pandemic is over.
